This Coalition formed in response to the removal of the neighborhood-led planning policy, which prevented the Floral Farms community from advancing their neighborhood plan. Since then, we have successfully worked with Planning and Urban Design at the City of Dallas to restore the policy, and improve it from the previous iteration.
The following pathway and process has been proposed by the Coalition to staff. The Policy will be finalized in Spring 2023 and will go to council for adoption.
